90% of our candles are made with crackling wood wicks, the other 10% are our discovery sets which have cotton wicks within. On the first burn, the wood wick may go out, this is because the oils are not yet saturated relight the candle for 3 hours to ensure an even burn pool across the wax.

On-going burn times should be between 2-3 hours and never exceed 4 hours. You may hear a crackling sound, that's ok its the sound of the crackle coming from the wood wick. Ensure the space where the candle is lit maintains ventilation.

Before every lighting, trim the wick ¼ inch with a wick trimmer to ensure an even and clean burn. Ideally, candles should be snuffed out with a candle snuffer as opposed to being blown out.
